Don Nations founded Nations Real Estate in 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia. With a second home in Bay County, he became involved as a developer and broker in the local area and moved down full time in 1985. With 37 years’ experience, nearly 30 of those in Bay County, he has been instrumental in the development of several local commerce projects including Stanford Station (Hobby Lobby) and the 23rd Street Corporate Park. He was also involved in the acquisition and assemblage of more than seven condominium projects in both Panama City and Panama City Beach.
In addition to Don’s extensive real estate experience, he also gained experience as the owner/operator of a construction company, Schipper Nations Construction. He has developed and rehabilitated well over 500,000 square feet of shopping centers, office projects and small housing projects.
Don has strong community ties, serving on several local boards including the Salvation Army Board of Directors, the Bay Medical Foundation Board of Directors and the Bay Bank Board of Directors and Advisory Committee. He continues to be a driving force behind the growth and development of Bay County and surrounding areas.
