Meet the Owner

Darren Haiman

Darren Haiman
Owner/Broker

Darren joined Nations Real Estate in 1995. A graduate of Florida State University, he gained experience working for publishing company, Worth International in Miami, Florida and Budget Rent A Car Corporation in Orlando, Florida. In his over two decades with Nations Real Estate, he has gained extensive knowledge in local Commercial Real Estate, ranging from industrial and multi-family to vacant development land. Darren has expertise in conventional brokerage as well as landlord and tenant representation and also manages numerous office parks and retail centers.

Seeking to build and strengthen the community he calls home, Darren has formed relationships with national brokerage firms and Department of Defense contractors, acting as trusted local representation for large companies seeking to develop their business in Bay County. He has served on numerous volunteer boards. He has served on the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce; United Way and Bay County Association of Realtors Executive Boards as Chairman. He currrently serves on the Bay County Chamber of Commerce,Richard Haiman National Parks Foundation as President, the Bay County Planning Commission as Chairman since 2017.

Don Nations

Don Nations

Don Nations founded Nations Real Estate in 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia. With a second home in Bay County, he became involved as a developer and broker in the local area and moved down full time in 1985. With 37 years’ experience, nearly 30 of those in Bay County, he has been instrumental in the development of several local commerce projects including Stanford Station (Hobby Lobby) and the 23^rd Street Corporate Park. He was also involved in the acquisition and assemblage of more than seven condominium projects in both Panama City and Panama City Beach.

In addition to Don’s extensive real estate experience, he also gained experience as the owner/operator of a construction company, Schipper Nations Construction. He has developed and rehabilitated well over 500,000 square feet of shopping centers, office projects and small housing projects.

Don has strong community ties, serving on several local boards including the Salvation Army Board of Directors, the Bay Medical Foundation Board of Directors and the Bay Bank Board of Directors and Advisory Committee. He continues to be a driving force behind the growth and development of Bay County and surrounding areas.
